Lois and Doug were married in the Logan, Utah Temple almost 11 years ago.  They held dreams of a family together.  While they have been trying, praying, and seeing doctors for the past 10 years, they have had plenty of practice with their nieces and nephews.  They love playing and visiting with them whenever they can, and Lois is always making dress up clothes and crafts for them.

Well their prayers were finally answered.  On a day I’m sure they will never forget, they received a phone call telling them of a 16 month old sweet little girl who needed a home. The birth family reached out to them knowing without a doubt, they would love her unconditionally.  Lois and Doug eagerly awaited her arrival for six long months, and then she was placed with them only on a foster care basis.

This has been a long process, an uphill battle at every turn. With the help of an attorney, they have fought the state agency to keep their daughter safe and healthy.  The court case is finally over, and this little girl’s birth mother, birth grandmother, and birth great grandparents are so happy to finally have Lois and Doug as her “Forever Parents”.

Of course, as with everything, it comes with a price.  The adoption cannot be legal until the attorney fees are paid. Doug and Lois' family and friends are rallying around them now to help their family be together.  Your donation will be forever appreciated, and will make their Dreams Come True!

If you would like to donate to help this family, please look at the upper right section of this blog. Lois' talented friend, Aimee of Sprik Space, made 4 beautiful prints to choose from based on the song Lois and Doug sing their daughter every night, telling her that she is their "Dream Come True". The price is just $10, and the print file will be emailed to you within 2 hours for you to print at home or at a print shop of your choice. There is also a place on the upper right hand corner of the blog to make a donation of any amount, big or small.

Please share this blog address with your friends and family via all social media outlets and email. Per their lawyer's advice, there are no photos of their daughter on this website. Just know she is always smiling and so happy to be home.

Thank you in advance for helping this family stay together!
